The Salt Lick has been serving delicious Barbecue in Driftwood, Texas for 3 generations. The website needed a re-fresh to facilitate easy online orders and shipping across the USA.
Flavor is everything when it comes to BBQ, and ensuring that an order arrives in pristine condition when the customer expects is priority #1. Tandem Web Co. worked with Salt Lick BBQ to define specific shipping methods and even more specific times of the year when those methods are available.
The custom delivery date picker ensures that the premium BBQ being delivered was cooked at the customer’s home, and not on the delivery truck. We created a responsive website to accomodate mobile shoppers and the e-commerce sales have increased significantly since the new website launched in early 2016.
The Roberts family has always been an entreprenuerial bunch. The BBQ restaurant was the first of many businesses to be born in Driftwood, including a development, winery, event venues and more.
Wine in the Hill Country, and several venues to enjoy it with family and friends.
